Payrise ("we", "us") offers payments, bill payments and related financial services through WhatsApp. Accounts and deposits are provided by our licensed banking partners. By using Payrise you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
To open an account you must be at least 18, hold a valid Nigerian phone number and provide accurate identity information, including your BVN. You are responsible for keeping your phone, WhatsApp account and PIN secure.
Every payment requires your PIN. Before you confirm, we show the recipient name and amount. Once confirmed, payments generally cannot be reversed, so please check details carefully.
Some transactions carry a fee. We show any fee before you confirm a transaction. Daily and per-transaction limits apply based on your verification level and regulatory requirements.
Stablecoin services are provided with our partners. While stablecoins aim to track the US dollar, their value and conversion rates may change. Conversions are final once confirmed.
You must not use Payrise for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful purpose, or try to access another person’s account. We may suspend accounts where we suspect misuse.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may close or suspend accounts where required by law or where these terms are broken. Any remaining balance will be returned to you.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you in your Payrise chat before material changes take effect.
